Many things to love about Ten-Chi ChaI became a big fan of Ten-Chi Cha for many reasons. One of them is caffeine free. I love tea but I had to stop drinking green tea because of caffeine. I can’t sleep if I take anything with caffeine. I also have high blood pressure so I decided to drink Ten-Chi Cha. I love the facts that Ten-Chi Cha has also detox herbs and it’s all natural. I love to drink this as hot tea in winter (especially for cold), and it is a perfect drink for hot summer as iced tea. The taste is simply pleasant either way.

Ten-Chi Cha, Easy Way to DetoxI heard about this tea from one of my friend's blog. I wanted to have something I can easily detox with so I purchased this tea. I am drinking 6 to 8 cups everyday. Taste Can't Be This GoodEveryone I know that has tasted Ten-Chi Cha loves it. I personally love the taste as well and is the main reason I drink it. From Insomnia To ArthritisHi. I am a female in late 40. I decided to drink this tea because I had a very bad insomnia. One day my friend knew this and told me to drink Ten-Chi Cha. After a month, yes! finally I was able to sleep well. But this isn't the only reason I love this tea. I've been struggling with muscle pain and arthritis. I had to take Advil everyday otherwise I wouldn't be able to do my daily jobs. As a mom, wife, and a small business owner, it was simple and easy solution for me. However, my cousin worried about this and often said to me, "Are you crazy? How come you take those medicine like nutrition supplements?" I think that has been 7 or 8 years. It Worked for Stomach Upset and SkinOne day I tuned in the radio and heard someone talking about this tea. I started drinking Ten-Chi Cha cuz it won't be a bad idea to drink one health tea for myself. Ten-Chi Cha is Good for Skin Itchiness and InsomniaMy husband and I have been drinking Ten-Chi Cha already for over a year. We both love this tea very much. My husband was struggling with itchiness and irritation around knees and hips for a long time. It gets even worse during summer. TEN-CHI CHA FOR HEADACHES? in March I went to the Natural Foods Expo in Anaheim and picked up a few extra products here and there without too much thought. Jeff as usual was tossing sample items in his bag and loading up both his bag and mine. After 5 hours I was tired and felt one of those headaches coming on from the noise and crowds.
Once we got home and organized our treasures systematically I noticed out of the corner of my eye a bottle of iced tea called Ten-Chi Cha Tea, which stated on the label:
Natural Detox Tea, caffeine free and sugar free.
I scanned the label to see if there was anything that might be odd or dangerous and found it was basically brewed tea with some plant herbs that were safe. No sweeteners or anything that would compromise my sense of safety with a product. It fit my bill of sale.
Tylenol or Tea?
I opted for the tea and guess what? My headache went away within the hour and did not come back. I was a bit shocked and thought I’d better research this company.
I sent an email and the president of the company Eco Vita, Tad Kumagai, emailed me back and answered all my questions. In addition, he sent me some samples of their iced tea and bagged tea as well. I’ve been enjoying them at the office – they both work for helping headaches and a boost of afternoon energy.
You can order them on their website or purchase at Japanese grocery stores. I tend to keep them on hand for headaches but if you like tea it’s great just for enjoyment as well. It’s nice to find a healthy alternative for treating a headache.

I’ve written about my love for Ten-Chi Cha before, so, unsurprisingly, I was excited when I got word from their marketing team a few months ago that they were working on a bottled version of their dry tea. Finally, it’s out!The iced tea version has all of the same healthy, detoxifying, and soothing ingredients as the dry tea version (read about them here), but I find the taste more mild (maybe because I’ve been drinking it cold). It’s super refreshing, and a light lavender adds great dimension to the unsweetened drink.
I’ve been drinking it throughout the day to supplement my water intake and, aside from being refreshing, it works amazingly well after you’ve over-eaten, are bloated, are stressed, and/or have a headache. I’m not promising you a miracle here, but in terms of soothing your body and mind, Ten-Chi Cha is unlike any tea I’ve tried (and my cupboards are literally stacked with teas — including a stack of oolong and red teas).
Nothing is worse for my skin than stress and I’ve found that regularly drinking Ten-Chi Cha has better helped me manage it, so it’s exciting to now have both a warm and cold option (especially when I’m on-the-go and want to take something to drink with me).
Ten-Chi Cha’s iced tea is calorie, caffeine and sugar free, and while it contains 12 different herbs with different medicinal properties (one of which, Dokudami, removes free radicals), it does not taste bitter like you might expect. That said, this isn’t going to taste like your overly-sweet, god-knows-what-is-in-it Snapple (seriously, if you look at the amount of acids and unpronounceable ingredients on the labels of drinks like Snapple you will start to doubt that they’re really “Made from the best stuff on Earth”!) either.
The only way I can describe it is as light and refreshing. All the herbs in Ten-Chi Cha have been used in Japan for centuries to purify the mind and body, and I’m personally in awe of how much of a positive effect drinking it has had on me. I guess what they say is true, “It’s the little things that can make the biggest difference!”
